Situation: Train Station

Sprinting from the cab I dart into the train station and anxiously scanned the monitors for inbound arrivals. Spying the waiting area, I secure my place, holding hostage my two square feet of space in the crowded waiting area. Peering down and noticing the cold cement pavement is still beneath my feet, I notice sticky flaming orange gum mixed with a grape fruit drink not two inches away from the frightened souls of my shoes. This short lived thought however is shattered by the sudden whizzing of a train, the wind of which forced me to counter balance and re-establish my posture. The screeching train was not only ear offending but seemed to be carrying with its breeze an odor even more rude and unpleasant. As the musty stench entered my nasal passage I could taste the flavor of "train" on my own breath. Eventually relief came as the entire mass of metal seemed to resign itself to the breakman, and losing power though non of its pride, finally rested motionless on the rail as if to boast, "I have now arrived". It seemed almost odd that passangers were now stepping down to safety with fragile skin and bones from what moments before had been a coffin shapped whizzing mass of cold powerful steel.
