Waking up this morning I felt different in a way
A glowing kind of feeling unlike any other day
And when this feeling came to me from out of the blue
I traced it back and sure enough, my thought’s went straight to you

At lunch I noticed how the busy day had not erased
The joy I felt inside when in my mind I’d see your face
The way I pushed your hair back touching skin that felt so warm
Feeling your surrender as you melted in my arms

Chorus
Robyn, though we had one night for just a while
Robyn, now I think of love as something bright and true, I call you

When the evening found me lying all alone in bed
I put away the day and chose to think of you instead
And as I drifted off to sleep I knew when morning came
I’d wake up with you on my mind and whisper your sweet name

I don’t know the future or what life will bring our way
I can only hint at what I’m really trying to say
But when I need a memory for the times I’m feeling blue
I’ll find it in a special place inside me I call you

Chorus
Robyn, though we had one night for just a while
Robyn, now I think of love as something bright and true, I call you

Robyn, though we had one night for just a while
Robyn, now I think of love as something bright and true, I call you
I call you
I call you
